Open Scanner – QR Code & Barcode Scanner ("Open Scanner", "we", "our", or "us") is developed and published by Sunil Codes. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app.
Open Scanner is designed to scan QR codes and barcodes. The application does not intentionally collect, store, or sell users' personal information on our own servers.
However, the app uses Google services such as Firebase, Google Play Services, and Google AdMob. These services may automatically collect limited technical or device-related information according to their own privacy policies.
The CAMERA permission is used solely for scanning QR codes and barcodes. Camera images are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Open Scanner allows users to optionally select an image from their device in order to scan a QR code or barcode contained in that image.
The app accesses only the image selected by the user through the Android system Photo Picker or another system picker where supported. The app does not continuously access the user's photo library and does not collect, upload, store, or share users' photos or videos.

Open Scanner is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information processed by the application. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
